About Us

The Toro Park Estates Home Association is an unincorporated community-based organization established for the purpose of promoting goodwill and common interest among the residents of the Toro Park Estates community.  The association has been in place since the early beginnings of the subdivision which started in the mid 1960's.  The subdivision is completely built out with 476 single-family residences.

The association works with the County of Monterey and Community Service Area 15 to support projects and improvements throughout the subdivision.  Some of this support includes financial assistance for projects and improvements where there's a shortfall of funding from the governmental jurisdiction responsible for the Toro Park Estates area.   To achieve this overall purpose, the association asks residents and homeowners to contribute annual voluntary member dues and donations.  Other benefits made possible by collecting annual dues, donations, and advertising includes publishing a quarterly newsletter, (the Bull's Tale) an annual membership directory, and public outreach through an email Alert List, website, and social media.  Other projects and programs provided by the association include annual placements of yard waste dumpsters, tree planting, watering and pruning, the Four Corners Project, maintaining a supply of dog waste bags and stations, and the annual Christmas Decoration Contest.

The Toro Park Estates Home Association is led by a group of volunteer board members that meet on the third Wednesday of each month to conduct the business of the association.  Members of the board serve in the roles of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and standing committee chairpersons.  The standing committees include Membership & Directory, the Bull's Tale, Architectural Review / CC&R's, Greenbelts & Parks, and Media Outreach which includes the Alert List, website, and Facebook Page.   The board and association are governed by and conduct business under a set of established by-laws.    â€‹
